By Hunky I was looking for a wireless mouse for my laptop. Recently launched ANT Sports Globe20 model caught my eye due to the extremely value for money price against the feature it had to offer.
This is a brief review for ANT Sports Globe20 Wireless Mouse with Bluetooth connectivity.

Why ANT Globe20?
Price, yes, that’s right. At the time of my purchase the model was newly launched so an excellent offer was running. Rs. 339/- was the selling price, along with 5% discount on ICICI Amazon Credit Card, making this Rs. 322/-. That was not all, as promotional offer, Rs. 30/- was offered as Amazon Pay cash back. Thus making the effective purchase price just Rs. 292/-
Any mouse with this same feature set is easily double the price at min, so the deal was no brainer. Even if this turned out to be a waste of money, it was a risk worth taking to check this out.
How is to use?
Size -> This is a standard full-size mouse. It is not small or large, but rather just like brand of normal mouse, expect the same exact size and holding feeling. This detail is crucial since many wireless mouse on sale are tad bit smaller and when you are used to holding and operating a standard full size mouse, it becomes really uncomfortable to adjust to this size / dimension change.
Weight -> It is on a little heavier side when compared to any standard wired mouse. Mind you, it packs a 500 mAH rechargeable battery inside so weight is acceptable but avoid any wireless mouse if your hand workflow is used to lifting the mouse while operating. To give you an idea, this is around 60% extra weight over any cheap wired mouse.
Build Quality -> This full plastic. Like all other mouse, the material is hard plastic. Build is somewhat acceptable, but this thing may not survive a fall from tabletop. But nothing to complain about. Since everything now days are built like this only.
Motion -> It is smooth, really enjoyable. Whether in desktop with mouse pad, or in bed (surface), movement is accurate and smooth.
Clicks -> Silence they promise and silence they do deliver. Clicks and really butter smooth and practically zero noise. You can play heavy AAA games while without waking the baby sleeping beside you. Very useful for people using their laptops during bed time.
RGB -> There is Zero RGB and that is how I wanted it. I am no fan of RGB. it is disturbing and it does more harm with battery power so for people like me, who wish to avoid RGB, here is a mouse with no RGB.
Battery Life -> This will wildly vary depending on usage pattern. I can only share my usage pattern and you may judge accordingly. For example, I am heavy productivity / office user. I don’t play too much of game, simply not getting enough time. If I start the use with a full charge and even with heavy long office usage, this thing lasts multiple days. Very power efficient and rarely needs charging with my usage pattern. It comes with a 500 mAh AA rechargeable battery, which is user replaceable. This is a really great feature compared to others who provide fixed battery, since incase battery goes bad in future, one can pop in another battery easily. ANT Globe20 is using standard AA battery cell and making is easy to access via the back port.
Charging -> ANT Globe20 comes with a standard USB C port for wired connectivity and charging. You can charge it via any mobile charger, and it takes around an hour to go to full charge.
Connectivity -> There are two ways to connect this ANT Globe20 wireless mouse with a computer. Either pop open the back panel, get the tiny USB Key and plug that into any PC / Laptop. Regardless of OS (MAC / Linux / Windows / ChromeOS / on even in UFEI Bios) it gets recognize straight way and works flawlessly. Zero configuration needed. It is as simple as plug n play.
However the feature I find most useful is the Bluetooth direct connection. ANT Globe20 is Bluetooth compatible and has dual mode feature. Meaning, one can connect this with any laptop or PC with Bluetooth. There is no need to block an USB port with the Wireless USB Key of the mouse. Most of the cheaper wireless mouse being sold lacks this feature since they work only with their wireless USB Key and can’t work directly with a Bluetooth connection.
Long Term Usage & Warranty?
ANT Globe20 is having 1 year of manufacturer warranty and actual life will depend on how good or badly you are going to use the mouse. It is really hard to judge or predict the life span of a mouse.
Should you buy it?
Depends on the price point. Product is decent, works well, and comfortable. I got it for Rs. 292/-, which is like half the price of similar feature mouse. So, at your time of purchase, if you notice the price is under cutting other similar feature products, then definitely you can pick this up.
