MiTV 4X 4K Android TV User Review

MiTV model 4X is a 4K Ultra HD large screen smart TV running Android 9 TV. Model 4X is available with different size options, 43 / 50 and 55 inch and price is very lucrative and affordable. Its been few months since we have got a MiTV 4X 43inch and here in this review, we shall share our user review and ownership experience of this TV along with explanation of all the features and how to use them.

The picture quality is just awesome. Being IPS display, it offers excellent viewing angles and 4K content just looks stunning. Although in India, you may have to pay extra subscriptions fee for apps offering 4K movies or shows. Apps like Amazon Prime and NetFlix is built-in but having access to Google Play store gives you the ability to install any other apps you wish, ex, Disney+Hotstar, Jio Cinema, Zee5, SonyLiv and so many more.



Make no mistake, brands like OnePlus, Realme, Motorola, Kodak isn’t bad. More or less all these brands offer similar viewing experience with their 4K panels.

Similarly, all these brands perform weak when it comes to speakers. This MiTV 4X 4K comes with 2 x 10 W bottom firing speakers and they are loud enough for normal content like News, Sports, Indian Serials and TV shows but when you want to enjoy proper movies or high budget action packed web series, then you must spend some extra money to get yourself a good home theatre system or those sound bars. This TV has HDMI ARC (out) so you can easily connect and enjoy that high definition Dolby+ DTS-HD sound.

MiTV remote is also very different from traditional bulky and full of button type options. Its very slick, although its plastic but it feels ergonomically comfortable to hold and with very few buttons, its extremely intuitive to use. The remote works with Bluetooth & comes with Google Voice Assistance integrated. One major negative problem though is the missing mute button.

Further, this TV can easily be used as a computer monitor. Simply get a HDMI cable and connect your Computer / MAC CPU with this TV and use the display as monitor. Be it productivity apps or content creation, experience of working on such a large screen display with 4K resolution is just stunning. Specially, if you are into PC / Console (XBOX, Playstation) gaming, you must give this a shot.
